Players interested in professional opportunities with the New Mexico Goatheads, or their representatives, may submit recent game film, playing history, and references to the coaching staff for evaluation and future consideration. Due to the volume of inquiries received, the organization may not be able to respond to every submission.

Head Coach

Zack Stortini was named the first Head Coach in New Mexico Goatheads history ahead of the club's inaugural season. He brings four years of coaching experience and a 14-year professional playing career that included 257 NHL games with the Edmonton Oilers and Nashville Predators.

Assistant Coach

Matt Register was named the first Assistant Coach in New Mexico Goatheads history ahead of the club's inaugural season. He brings one year of coaching experience and a decorated 14-year professional playing career that included three Kelly Cup championships and three ECHL Defenseman of the Year awards.

Abby Russo

Abby Russo

Head Athletic Trainer

Abby Russo was named the first Head Athletic Trainer in New Mexico Goatheads history ahead of the club's inaugural season. She brings three seasons of ECHL experience, having previously worked with the Iowa Heartlanders and the Allen Americans, along with experience at the Dallas Stars' Development Camp and TCU Athletics.

Matt Miletich

Head Equipment Manager

Matt Miletich was named the first Head Equipment Manager in New Mexico Goatheads history ahead of the club's inaugural season. He brings nearly three seasons of ECHL experience with the Allen Americans along with an extensive background in leadership and operations, including more than eight years of service in the U.S. Army.
